As the Chief Administrative Officer of the NeuroTexas Institute and on behalf on the physicians, nursing and administrative staff, I would like to welcome you to this website and particularly to this online journal. The last few months have been extremely exciting as we were launching the Institute on the campus of St. David's Medical Center. We aimed at creating a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary and cutting-edge neuroscience program here in Austin and offering an academic and research platform for clinicians and scientists, allowing them to provide un-matched clinical care and advances in the field of neuroscience.
Week after week, through this online journal, physicians from the Institute will share, with the reader, their work, their research projects and overall their hopes for better outcomes.
