Stroke Support Group

The Central Austin Stroke Support Group seeks to provide a refuge of support and information for stroke survivors, their families and caregivers.

This group will meet every 2nd Monday of the month from 4:30 – 5:30 pm in the St. David’s Rehabilition Center, First Floor, Day Program Area

Brain Tumor Support Group

The Brain Tumor Support Group established at the NeuroTexas Institute at St. David’s HealthCare is affiliated with the National Brain Tumor Foundation and seeks to provide a refuge of support and information for the brain tumor patients and/or families.

The this group will meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the St. David's Medical Center Rehabilitative Services Department Day Room.

Multidisciplinary Tumor Conferences

Every other Friday at 7:00 am, in the International Training Room at St. David's Medical Center.
Individual cases are presented and discussed at multidisciplinary tumor conferences. Physicians representing all neuro-oncology specialties attend the conferences, which review each patient’s diagnostic imaging films, pathology and overall status. The group discusses available forms of treatment and shares recommendations before reaching a consensus regarding the best treatment approach for each patient.
