For Physicians

Dear Physician,

NeuroTexas Institute is dedicated to advancement in the field of Neuroscience. At the Institute, your patients will be cared for by fellowship-trained neurosurgeons, dedicated to bringing to Central Texas leading-edge neurosurgical treatment options.

We have partnered with St. David’s HealthCare to provide the highest level of sub-specialty care. When patients are introduced into our program, a clinical nurse coordinator welcomes them, provides education, and arranges all aspects of care. A nurse practitioner is also available to coordinate inpatient care and discharge orders. This personalization immediately lifts the burden of navigating through the complex maze of medical care. Your patients will benefit from rapid entry into care and coordination throughout treatment.

Referring physicians will benefit as well. All correspondence to you will occur within 48 hours of referral. Cases are presented at a multi-disciplinary case conference, which all physicians are welcome to attend. Since our outcome research will continue over time, we welcome case discussions after your patient returns to the primary care setting.

We appreciate your support of our vision. As the medical directors of NeuroTexas Institute, we are committed to offering a state-of-the-art Neuroscience clinical program for our community.

Best regards,

Drs. Mark G. Burnett, Douglas J. Fox and K. Michael Webb
